The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced this decision on Tuesday afternoon, confirming that the border crossing will resume normal operations starting at *6 a.m. MST on Thursday.*

In their press release, CBP reiterated their commitment to border security, emphasizing that they will continue to prioritize this mission in response to the ever-evolving situation. “We will keep assessing security situations, adjusting our operational plans, and deploying resources to maximize enforcement efforts against noncitizens who do not use lawful pathways or processes, such as scheduling an appointment via CBP One, and those without a legal basis to remain in the United States,” stated the agency.
