We are continuing our efforts to try to bring you the best off season rentals possible. Castaways wants to involve the owners more in the decision process for your rental properties. First call is December 2^nd and then we will have each quarter on the first Saturday of the month. You should have received a bulletin on this already. If not let us know and we will add you to the distribution list.

When we add new requirements, it is not to penalize you or to cost you money. It is to match or beat our competition and keep your property in a competitive position. Since we joined with you at the Sonoran Spa we have instituted Resort Phones into all condos, Wireless Internet, Wall Hung Blow Dryers, and many other appliances.
It is our duty to take care of your property and have in shape for the best vacation experience for our guest.

During this time of the year in the off season, we recommend to all owners to take a good look at your properties and think about your competition. Standard in the Sonoran Properties has become Granite Counters and it is not too expensive in Rocky Point. If you still have your original appliances it is a good time to replace. If you haven’t painted for some time there is nothing like a fresh coat of paint to spruce things up. Check your mattresses to see if they have broken down and could cause discomfort to guests. By now there should not be any more tube TVs. If you find you have one please remove it. Nothing dates a condo more than a tube tv. If your couches have worn down material it may be time to replace or at least reupholster. Cabinets can be painted. We have been able to find matching Shower diverter trim and it makes things look like new for a small cost. For older refrigerators we have been able to paint and they come out nice but only last a year or two. Better to change out to a more efficient model. We have been replacing drip pans and coils on stove tops which improves greatly the appearance but it is really time to replace. Please contact your owner services manager and she will help get you discounted pricing from one of our chosen local vendors.

The popular program House Hunters International will feature Puerto Peñasco.  Thanksgiving night as former Diamondbacks Baseball star Shea Hillenbrand and his wife Kristen look for a property here.

If you have seen the program, you know that the Hillenbrands will take a look at 3 properties and try to decide which is the best match for them. One of this properties is a Sonoran Spa condo.

House Hunters International will air Thanksgiving evening at 8:30pm pm on the HGTV Network. They repeat the episode several times. Our affiliated company Amigo Marketing provided the drone footage you will see.

In this episode you will see a Sonoran Spa penthouse being visited, showing the amenities of the Resort and the amazing views. The drone aerial footage is courtesy of Castaways through its marketing company Amigo Marketing Services. This will give a promotion on TV for the Resort and the beauties of Rocky Point. We have no doubt that this will help to promote the Sonoran Spa Resort as the best Resort to stay, to visit and to live!

With a visit of 8,000 bikers this year, Rocky Point closed this year with another successful event and a great year of rentals for Sonoran Spa Resort. Our Marketing team assisted to the events live broadcasting and engaging with the bikers on Facebook, hitting more than 10k likes and more than 700 views at the time, our Rally Facebook page keeps growing and growing. What does this mean? Well, becoming one of the biggest Facebook pages in Rocky Point allows us to sell out the Resort. We always tried our best to sell out every weekend, now that we are on Low Season, it give us room to get back and create our strategies and reinforce our marketing campaigns for 2018, we can not wait to share with you our future projects for Sonoran Spa incoming next year!
